GALBANUM

The essential oil is obtained from the tree Ferula, which is cultivated in Turkey, Afghanistan and Lebanon.
In ancient times it was used as fragrance. Egyptians prized this oil in cosmetics and embalming. In medieval Europe, Galbanum considered the Indian goods because it was imported through Alexandria and Venice. The resin was considered a valuable medicine that can affect the human psyche.

It's a means of skin care, helps with muscle pains, rheumatism. Effective in bronchitis, catarrh, laryngitis.

It was noted that this oil soothes nervous agitation, panic attacks, as well as seasonally-dependent depression. In such cases, it's good to take a warm bath before going to bed every day for 20 minutes - until the condition improves.
