According to Ayurveda, Katuvira is not a panacea, but it is a very valuable remedy. It's other name Marici-phalam, which means the fruit of the sun, because it contains a large amount of solar energy.
Serves as a powerful stimulant for the digestive system and for the circulatory system. In addition, it effectively disperses the internal and external cold. However, red pepper can exacerbate inflammatory conditions in the body.
You should use it with caution, and then it increases the effects of many other herbs.
Katuvira has a strong hemostatic effect and can be used in acute conditions to stop the bleeding. However, its long-term use can strength provoke bleeding as it has warming properties.
Useful for heart diseases, but can strongly excite Pitta, which in some cases leads to heart attacks. Particularly effective for burning of toxins in the colon.
