Indications: worms, bronchitis, skin and urinary diseases, dandruff.

Chickpeas contain a large amount of sucrose, fructose, polysaccharides including starch, citric acid and oxalic acid.

Chickpeas - strong cholesterol-lowering means. Anti-stress, antihyperlipidemic  and immunostimulatory activity of this plant may be explained by presence of the pangamic acid and free nucleotides in it.

The plant has a stimulating, tonic effect, increases libido, has an antihelminthic action.

Useful in bronchitis, acute hepatitis, leprosy and other skin diseases.

Powdered seeds are used as a remedy for dandruff and as a facial mask.
