Amla - one of the most powerful anti-aging plants of Ayurvedic medicine, and itself it is a tree-survivor.

It is particularly effective as a Rasayana for Pitta and also for blood, bones, liver and heart. Restores and maintains new tissues and increases the number of red blood cells, cleanses the mouth, strengthens the teeth, nourishes the bones, promotes the growth of hair and nails.

Improves vision, stops bleeding of gums, reduces inflammation in the stomach and colon. It is the richest natural source of vitamin C (up to 3000mg in one fruit). Amla improves appetite, cleanses the intestines and regulates blood's sugar levels.

Cautions: acute diarrhea, dysentery.
