Rose clay, often referred to as pink clay, is a gentle, natural clay that contains kaolinite. Rose clay is fabulous for most skin types; including sensitive skin. Rose clay provides gentle exfoliation, helps to draw toxins from the skin, helps to increase circulation, reduces skin irritation, and helps to reduce inflammation. Rose clay is typically used as an ingredient in cosmetics, soap, facial masks, and mud baths.
Rose clay is also perfect for sensitive skin, as it has a gentle cleansing action that isn’t too harsh.
Actively draws pimples and blackheads to the surface leaving skin clear, clean and refreshed.
Rose clay is alive. It is rich in silica, calcium, iron and magnesium. It shimmers with electromagnetic energy. Used for thousands of years to treat skin. Clay loosens clogged pores drawing impurities to the surface without dissolving the protective epidermal layer. It exfoliates dry, dead skin cells increasing tone and clarity. It absorbs excess oil, refines and softens fine lines and wrinkles, and fades the appearance of hyper-pigmentation and scarring.
Preperation: To make a facial mask from powdered clay, combine 1/2 to 1 tbsp of the powder with 1–2 tbsp of water and apply to the skin; rinse with warm water after 10 minutes. You can also add a few drops of aloe vera gel to the clay mixture. A recipe for a facial mask for oily skin consists of mixing 1 tbsp of powdered clay with 5 drops of jojoba oil.
