This is wonderful spice blend for muttor biryani. A perfect BOMBAY BIRYANI with MDH masala for a delightful meal treat.
This is a process of cooking a spicy rice dish, where the rice is cooked separately to the curry mixture and then combined in layers in a pot, before being slowly heated. Vegetables, meat, chicken and fish can all be cooked in this same way and is a meal in itself served with yogurt.
MDH Hyderabadi Biryani Masala is a spice blend for Mutton Biryani in Hyderabadi Style.
Ingredients: Cassia, Black Pepper, Cardamom Seeds, Red Chillies, Cloves, Caraway, Green Cardamom and Mace.
Recipe Suggestion:
Soak 200g cleaned, washed rice for 30 minutes in water and drain.
Fry 1 large, chopped red onion (90g) and 2 garlic cloves in 30g oil.
Add 150g cubed meat pieces and fry until brown.
In a separate pan, mix 5g Hyderabadi Biryani Masala with the drained rice and stir over a low heat for 2 minutes. Add water (double the volume of soaked rice) and cook with the lid on until the water has evaporated.
Add the meat/onion mixture to the cooked rice and stir through.
